Reliance Jio has announced to take Interconnected Use Charge (ICU) a few days back. After this announcement by Jio, the prices of all Jio pre-paid plans have also been updated with the IUC charge. Jio has also said that ICU recharge is to be done to the same people whose validity has expired on 9 October 2019.
At the same time customers of Jio which recharged on October 9 are also worried because after the ICU minutes are over they are not able to call on the network of another company. So the question is if the validity of your Jio plan is saved and you also have internet If you are running but are not able to make a call on another network then which recharge you should do. Let us tell you.
How to get IUC recharged?
For example, suppose you made a recharge of Rs 399 after 9 October and you made this recharge with ICU charge at Rs 409 (Rs 10 ICU). In such a situation the validity of your plan is 84 days but under this plan you can talk only 124 minutes on the network of another company. If after 124 minutes are over if you are unable to call on another network then you can recharge 10, 20, 50, 100 or 500 rupees.
You will have to make these recharges for calling on other networks. If the validity of your plan is left but you are not able to call on other networks then you go to My Jio app Jio's website. After this click on the recharge one and now go to the section with TOP-Up.
There you will see top up vouchers ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 1,000. Now recharge according to your need. After topup recharge you will get balance which you will be able to use for calling on other networks 6 paisa per minute will be deducted for calling on other networks. The validity of top recharge is unlimited that is as long as there is a balance on your number you will be able to use it.
